This was my week last week. I've had no time in which to write until now, terribly sorry.
Monday was, of course, Valentine's Day.
Unfortunately, I had to dissect a worm. Not my ideal Valentine's Day-totally unromantic!

Tuesday we bought the character shoes
Maddy and I need for Drama and I found an army-green colored, 40's style dress!
(both of which you can see part of below)
And after we got home, we had only 30 minutes until we had to leave for our Bible Study.
Wednesday we were at JOY Christian Academy all day, where we choreographed Music Man.
Thursday, Maddy and I served at the Wise Choices Gala with nine other lovely girls.
Friday Maddy and I went with some friends to the Winter Jam Concert, which was AMAZING!
And afterward I got the autographs of the band members of Kutless (who described us as pleasant :) )
And Red's band members autographs!!! They commented on our nice smiles! I nearly died with happiness. It was pretty funny...a group of homeschooled girls going up to a rather creepy looking band. A very hilarious situation, to be sure. We didn't get home from the concert until 1:30 am.
Friday we got up bright and early to leave for Turkey Texas. We met up with Rebecca's family, and some other friends stayed at a darling, rustic hotel where we all spiffed up for the 40's and 50's dance!
After 6 hours and 17 dances, we wearily made our way back to the lodge, where we played catch phrase, ping pong, foosball, and just hung out until 3 in the morning. :)
Sunday we drove to Childress to the Shannon's place where we had a delicious brunch, a wonderful church service, and a tour of their ranch. I felt very adventurous and picked up a crawdad. Sadly, this shocked everyone...
The next Monday I had to dissect a crawdad and felt horrible since I had just made friends with one the day before. (and I was still sore from dancing)
~
All together a wonderful, wonderful week. Thank you Lord for Your blessings!
